From Research Collaboration to an AI-Enhanced HPV Diagnostic Platform
Geno10X Biosciences, Gene Bio Medical and Simon Fraser University researchers are collaborating on an R&D program exploring a point-of-care platform that combines sensitive HPV urine testing with AI-supported risk assessment. Innovate BC awarded C$300,000 to the collaboration, while a separate C$225,000 NSERC Alliance project supports related SFU-led sensor research.

Building a Strategic Production and Market Pathway in Vietnam
Gene Bio Medical and Bidiphar signed a memorandum of understanding to explore a diagnostics joint venture in Vietnam. The relationship developed after a Team Canada Trade Mission supported by the Trade Commissioner Service and CanExport SMEs. The MOU represents a strategic pathway—not evidence that GBM currently operates a factory or completed joint venture in Vietnam.
